Cloud Downloader 2.4The following post will be very brief but nevertheless it will bring you some nice news. With immediate effect version 2.4 of my Cloud Downloader is ready for download.
In this version there are no new features, but some important bug fixes. Since Soundcloud has once again screwed up their website, as well as their API, some playlists and profiles couldn’t be loaded with the 2.3 version any longer.
That’s why there is the new 2.4 version. So everything should work again. As always – if you find errors or have suggestions, let me know!

404Checkr - RunningQuick interim report – as of today there is a new version of my mass linktester called “404Checkr”.
For those who can not remember anymore, let me explain it in a few words – the 404Checkr was released about a year ago by me. By means of this tool one can easily and very quickly test lots of links for their validity. Thus, for example, one can easily check out which webpages of a linklist are still online and which aren’t.
In the current version (1.7.5.0) I have added four new features:

Wordpress2Doc 1.2.0.0 - All-in-OneToday, there is again a small software update. Since yesterday, namely the new version (1.2..0.0) of my software “WordPress2Doc” is available for download. In addition to a bug fix also two small new features are added.
For those who can not remember what WordPress2Doc is good for ot those who are new in the “code-bude.net”-community, I’ll explain the benefits of Wordpress2Doc in a few words.
With WordPress2Doc you can save any (as well as many) articles and pages of a WordPress blog as a Word document (.docx) and as a PDF file. So with WordPress2Doc you can, for example, back up your blog posts, print and prepare them for other use cases.

Update: Cloud Downloader 2.3

Cloud Downloader Version 2.3In September I brought out the last cloud downloader update. Now today I’ll release the next version for you. With the last update there have been some changes to the download logic in order to respond to the changes on the SoundCloud website. Unfortunately, my algorithm was not 100% bullet-proof, so in playlists only the first 10 songs have been displayed.
In addition to that SoundCloud began to stream some songs exclusively as rtmp stream, so I had to rework the download logic another time. I look forward to your feedback and hope you enjoy the new downloader.

Bugfix: Possible to search playlists of any size (the 10-song-limit was removed)
Bugfix: Fixed 404-errors while downloading (by adding RTMP support)

Cloud Downloader Update 2.2 - Soundcloud DownloaderThe last release of my Cloud Downloader was round about one and a half year ago. But since then there was no solid ground to release a new version. The Cloud Downloader worked flawlessly since it’s last release and also there were no noteworthy feature requests.
But in the last two days I got several mails and comments telling me that the Cloud Downloader stopped working. So I opened my IDE, stepped into the code, started debugging and worked on a bugfix. And what should I say – here it is!
Today I’ve released the new Cloud Download 2.2 which got some bugfixes and one, simple new feature.
