LibrisLog 1.9.0: Smarter Import Search, Public Profiles and More

LibrisLog 1.9.0 is a substantial feature release rather than a tiny maintenance bump. Released on September 15, 2026, it focuses on import search, shareable profiles and the small points of friction that tend to turn a book tracker into a spreadsheet with feelings.
Edition groups and an import basket
Search results from different providers that describe the same book are now grouped into expandable edition groups. LibrisLog matches editions by ISBN or, when no ISBN is available, by title and authors. That makes it much easier to compare variants and pick the right one without losing results in a long, repetitive list.
The selected edition is highlighted, and a new import basket lets you collect results before importing them. The basket can be reviewed, individual entries can be removed, and everything can be imported in one go. Reading status, possession status and medium are kept with each entry, while duplicate additions are prevented.

Cloud Downloader 3.1
The weekend is almost over and I was diligent. So there is a new update for the Cloud Downloader.
In addition to some bug fixes, there are also one, two small new features this time. So it’s not a pure bugfix release.
In version 3.1 you there are inter alia the following improvements:

Songs from the Soundcloud-Charts are supported now
If you don’t like the cat gifs (animations) during the download, you can disable them by now
If you like the animations, but don’t like cats, you can switch to dogs, sloths, donkeys, fails or wins.
The searchtype “albums” is also supported by now

Bugfixes

Fixed some bugs in the song search
Lags and freezes while showing the animated gifs belong to the past
Better stability of the song search (less”no song found” = more fun)

Cloud Downloader 2.8
Since a couple of minutes the new version 2.8 of the CloudDownloader is available for you. At this point I would like to thank you for your numerous feedback that has been incorporated into the new version of Cloud Downloader.
In addition to a few bugfixes, the new version has mainly received your wishes and suggestions. I also added some small new features out of my head. You can see from the following list what has happened exactly.

Update: Cloud Downloader 2.7

Cloud Downloader 2.7Just yesterday I had released the version 2.6.5 of the Cloud Downloader, because the downloader was broken by changes to the SoundCloud website. Unfortunately, I realized that the 2.6.5er update did not fix all errors and so that some links were still not working.
Therefor, just one day after the last release, I’ll present you another version of the Cloud Downloaders today. Version 2.7 fixes a few bugs ceoncerning the search function of the downloader.
In addition, the new version brings an improvement in the update window, that unfortunately displays from time to time outdated links. With the next update (the next time you’ll see the update window), this issue should be disappeared.

Cloud Downloader 2.6.5Today there is again a small update for the Cloud Downloader. However, the new version is only an interim release with bugfixes. New features are waiting for you in the next release of the Cloud Downloader.
However, since there were changes to the SoundCloud website and the current version 2.6 has thus lost its function, I had to bring forward this release. The latest version for now is 2.6.5, which can be found, as usual, in the main article about Cloud Downloader. Please follow the link below to download the new version.
