Pixlr-o-matic – the Instagram for PC

I’m sure everybody knows or at least has heard about Instragram. The most famous app to give your photos some nice effects. However, anyone who has not a smartphone or tablet, or rather prefers to edit his pictures on the PC, should have a look at pixlr-o-matic. The only requirement is a browser with Flash support, but that should indeed be easier and cheaper to procure than a smartphone or tablet. ;)

So you can imagine how the whole thing works, I made you some screenshots. Let’s go!

vorlage (960x1280)
This image serves as sample picture. (If one wants to know where it’s been – it’s at my grandpa’s house.)

pixlromatic upload
By clicking “Upload” you go.

pixlromatic_filter
In the first step, you can choose between a variety of filters.

pixlromatic_effekte
In the second step, you can freely add effects.

pixlromatic_rahmen
And in the third step the image is provided with a frame.

pixlromatic_options
With the left button you can add more filters, effects and frames for free and with the right button pixlr-o-matic can automatically create you a random combination of filters, effects and frame.

pixlromatic_sichern
When you’re done, you can get your picture by clicking on the “Save” button.

Certainly, pixlr-o-matic is no alternative and also no competition for products, such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom, but for those of you, who have editing technically two left hands (like me for example), pixlr -o-matic is a nice gimmick.

In this sense, wish you a lot of fun mixing up your photo’s pixels!

p.s.: pixlr-o-matic’s also is available as app for Android, iOS, Chrome and PC/MAC.

Hello! I would like to share my experience — we spent a long time looking for good containers with lids for our café. We found what we needed at mcdonaldpaper https://mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-rddl8b-reclosable-black-plastic-dome-lid-for-8-oz-hot-paper-cups-1000-cs/ : the lids stay on and everything is securely closed. Very convenient when there is a large flow of orders — nothing breaks or leaks. I definitely recommend them to anyone who works in delivery.
